Born in Zaragoza on January 29, 1989, Marco Lara is a versatile musician who has built his career as a virtuoso pianist and singer, combining solid classical training with the freedom of modern music.
From a young age, Marco excelled in both piano and singing, showing a natural talent that earned him prestigious awards and scholarships in Spain. Despite standing out with his voice, it wasn’t until later, during his time in Barcelona, that he decided to formalize his training in modern singing and jazz at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona Conservatory). There, he developed a unique artistic versatility and refined his pianistic technique, earning the highest honors in piano.
He had the privilege of studying with the renowned professor Galina Eguiazarova, recognized for having trained piano legends such as Arcadi Volodos and Radu Lupu. This experience deeply influenced his development as a performer.
His international career has led him to perform on major stages in Spain (Zaragoza, Barcelona, Madrid, San Sebastián, Málaga, Cádiz, Oviedo, León) and across Europe, in cities like Amsterdam and other locations in the Netherlands, Frankfurt (Germany), Basel (Switzerland). Additionally, he has taken his music to Brazil, where he currently resides and explores new musical horizons.
At this stage of his career, Marco is fully dedicated to his true passion: modern music with virtuosic and innovative arrangements, blending the refined technique of his classical training with the freshness and freedom of modern music. His unique style and ability to move audiences have made him a leading performer on every stage he steps on.
